My parting thoughts…

This is my last Director’s Cut. I retire in early October after ten years as your Director of Alumni Relations. It’s been a great run. It’s simply an example of how CofC friendships and networks last a lifetime. Read story »

COUGAR TALES: DIRECTOR'S CUT (AUGUST 2015)

Charleston is known for its hospitality, whether it is being touted by Travel & Leisure, USA Today, Fox News, CNN, or (hopefully not this year) The Weather Channel. There is no debate here. Cougar Tales: Director's Cut (March 2015)

Remember when email first came out and none of us knew what to choose as our email address? We ended up creating accounts like iheartpuppies@aol.com or ib2beautiful@hotmail.com or HRC@myprecious.com .  As interesting as these names are, they say something about you - you’re obsessed with your dog (who isn’t); you may need therapy, or you’re Hillary Clinton.  The point is, we now know it is wise to be thoughtful about your address. Cougar Tales : Director's Cut (January 2015)

One of the College of Charleston’s most enduring traditions is the Annual Business Meeting of the Alumni Association followed by the Annual Alumni Reception, the latter known today as A Charleston Affair.  For well over a century A Charleston Affair has welcomed each graduating class to the ranks of the alumni – in most years occurring only days before their testimonial walk across the Cistern. Read story »

Working for the College of Charleston and being an alumnus, I have the luxury of seeing my alma mater every day.
