About the Alumni Association

Lifelong Connections Start Here

The College of Charleston Alumni Association, an international organization of more than 100,000 graduates and former students of the College of Charleston, has been in continuous operation since June 13, 1888. The purpose of the Association as expressed in its bylaws is “to manifest interest in, and to promote the welfare of, the College of Charleston.”

The business of the Association is conducted through its elected Board of Directors. The officers and members of the Board are elected at the Annual Meeting of the Alumni Association held each spring.  The Board works to build a culture of pride and engagement by ensuring alumni stay informed, get involved, and give back.

In 2007, the Alumni Association discontinued its dues program, making all alumni members of the Alumni Association. The Association encourages all alumni to make an annual gift to the College of Charleston Alumni Fund. A percentage of these gifts support alumni programming through the Alumni Association.

If you should have any questions regarding the Alumni Association or would like to discuss ways you may get involved, contact Brianna Sabacinski ’16, Executive Secretary at (843) 953-0433 or sabacinskibm@cofc.edu.
