The Cistern Oak Collection
During the summer of 2016, after nearly 100 years standing witness to College of Charleston convocations, graduations, lifelong friendships, love, and laughter, a majestic Laurel Oak fell in Cistern Yard. Fortunately, alumna and designer Katie Kozar Thompson ’09 volunteered to cure and use the wood to create a collection of objects to display our pride in our alma mater. Proceeds from the sale of Cistern Oak Collection items benefit the Alumni Association’s scholarships and programs for the College. For more information or to view the items, please click here.
The Official College Ring
Rings are available in yellow or white gold, silver, or celestrium. Your initials, degree, class year, or sorority or fraternity may be engraved inside. Available to purchase online, or on campus during Family Weekend, Graduation Fair, Spring and Fall Alumni Weekend, and Ring Days scheduled throughout the year. The College Pendant
Available in white or yellow gold, the pendant features the College of Charleston’s seal. The pendant is another way to participate in the College tradition. Limited Edition Silk Scarf by Ben Silver
All CofC alumnae must have this elegant 34” square, maroon and white, silk scarf. This 100% silk scarf is silk-screened by hand and has hand-rolled edges. The vintage design features an interlocking “C” borrowed from a pennant shown in an early 1900s photograph of a College sports team. This fine scarf comes packaged in a beautiful Ben Silver box.
