LinkedIn also offers job postings for employers and provides a robust job search function with easy filters to find the right positions to which to apply.

Resume resources for experienced job seekers

Your resume should be a concise, well-organized document showcasing your skills, experiences, achievements, and education. It is designed to capture the attention of a potential employer and land you an interview. For experienced job seekers, a reverse-chronological resume and a professional summary are recommended. Your resume should not exceed two pages.

The Alumni Association has entered into an agreement with Soule Career Services to offer career coaching at a significant discount to alumni of the College. Soule can show you how to effectively market yourself, explore career options, discern which career path will lead you to success, and assist you in honing specific skills. Services include assessment evaluation, and career transition coaching. Continuing Education at the College of Charleston

The Center for Continuing and Professional Education (CCPE) at the College of Charleston School of Business provides education opportunities to help you advance your career. Courses include executive education in leadership, professional development, and exam preparation. Learn the skills necessary for success in today’s global economy. Prepare for a career in financial planning, project management, real estate, or human resources with courses to succeed on professional licensing exams.

General Career Services for Entry-level job seekers

The Career Center serves all students and alumni who are looking for an internship, entry-level job or applying to graduate school. The Center offers a variety of services including career counseling, job search strategy, resume writing, and interviewing techniques.
