1975
Dan Murray is the Pre-MBA CAP Program Instructor at the University of Delaware. He earned his MS in chemistry from the University of Houston in 1981. In 2019, he earned his MA in teaching English as a second language from the University of Delaware. Mr. Murray and his wife, Anne, have two daughters and reside in Wilmington, DE.

Jim Baum is the CFO of Southern Research based in Birmingham, AL. He and his wife, Michelle, live in Fleetwood, PA, and have three children.

Lori Wolfe Carter (MAT ’89) is a Teacher at Saint Rose Academy in Birmingham, AL.
Eric Combs is the Chief Financial Officer of K-Con Inc. Mr. Combs has become an Accredited Small Business Consultant. He and his wife, Mary, reside in North Charleston, SC.
1985
Mitchell Leverette has been promoted to the new Eastern States Director for the Bureau of Land Management and has over three decades’ experience implementing the Bureau’s energy policies. Mr. Leverette will begin his new position on July 6 and will be responsible for management actions on millions of acres in 31 Eastern states. He has served on the Alumni Association’s Board of Directors, and on the School of Sciences and Mathematics Board of Advocates. Mr. Leverette resides in Manassas, VA, with his wife, Sylvia.

Dawn Brewer was selected as the Atlanta Region Nominee for the East Business Unite Influencer Award for demonstrating AstraZeneca values and behaviors consistently in a way that stands out from others, resulting in a unique or exceptional overall contribution. Ms. Brewer resides in Stone Mountain, GA.
1987
Margaret Mungin Patterson is a Supervisor for the Public Health Associate Program and a Senior Public Health Advisor for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) based in Atlanta, GA. In December, she will graduate from Walden University with her master’s degree in public health. Through her work with the CDC, she has been presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for supporting the COVID-19 response as Regional Operations for the State Coordination Task Force. Ms. Patterson resides in Summerville, SC, with her husband, Mike, and their three children.

Naala Connor Brewer has been promoted to Director of Prison Education at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. Ms. Brewer earned her MS in applied mathematics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1995. In 2020, she received the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences Outstanding Instructor and Service Award. Ms. Brewer resides in Phoenix, AZ.

Dr. Kylon Middleton is a Candidate for Charleston County Council District 6. Dr. Middleton is the Pastor at Mount Zion AME Church in downtown Charleston, SC. After graduating from the College, he earned graduate degrees from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and Duke University. Dr. Middleton resides in Charleston, SC.

Tina Schiro Fuchs is the Owner and Artist of The Oyster Lab. Ms. Fuchs resides in Marietta with her husband, Sam, and has two children.
Dyan Grygielko Heineck is the owner of Island Expressions, a custom framing and gift shop located on Daniel Island, SC. Island Expressions is a finalist in two categories for the Best of Charleston 2020. Ms. Heineck has been a professional custom framer for over 20 years. She resides on Daniel Island with her husband, Peter, and their three children.
Stacey Vanderplow Mendez is the Vice President of Retail Planning and Advisory Services for Netverta. Ms. Mendez resides in Aubrey, TX, with her husband, Nelson. She has three children, George, Mia, and Jacob.
Elizabeth Eadie Neal earned her MS in leadership from The Citadel in December 2019. She works for Koch Business Solutions and resides on Daniel Island, SC.
1999
Catherine Sandlin Dority is the Director of Marketing for Explore Charleston, the Charleston area convention and visitor’s bureau. Ms. Dority serves on the Alumni Association Board of Directors. She previously served on the National Board of Trustees for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute of Organization Management program from 2012-2019. Ms. Dority received the Order of the Silver Crescent from Governor Henry McMaster in December 2017 for 20 years of service at Explore Charleston. She and her husband, Roland Dority ’91, reside in Charleston, SC, with their daughter Simmons.

Mead Harriss III has been a District Court Judge for the First Judicial District of the State of North Carolina since being first elected in 2010. Judge Harriss earned his JD from Campbell University in 2004. He and his wife, alumna Jennifer Pridgen ’01, have two sons, O.R. and Lee, and reside in Edenton, NC.
Ellis Roberts has opened Ellis Roberts Law, LLC, in Charleston. He earned his law degree from Elon University School of Law and practices personal injury law. Mr. Roberts and his wife, Mary, have four sons and live in Mount Pleasant, SC.

Emily Heatwole Keeney is a Government Relations Advisor for Adams and Reese LLP. She lives in Columbia, SC, with her husband, Jeffrey.

Ripp Kardon is a Talent Acquisition Manager, Operating Efficiency, for Elior North America and resides in Charlotte, NC.

Erin Yates Spencer is a Partner for Smith Spencer Real Estate. She and her husband, Robert, reside in Mount Pleasant, SC.

Liz Thompson Bowen is a Senior Consultant for 3 Green Pillars in Durham, NC. Ms. Bowen earned her MBA from North Carolina State University in 2017. She and her son, Peter, reside in Raleigh, NC.
Lindsey Clark Morgan is a Teacher for the Fort Mill School District. She earned her MEd in divergent learning from Columbia College in 2012. Ms. Morgan and her husband, Charles, reside in Fort Mill, SC.
2007
Graig Norden is the Senior Vice President, Marketing, of FiComm Partners in Los Angeles. In 2018, Mr. Norden was selected as a finalist for a thought leadership award from WealthManagement.com as a result of a study that he published. Mr. Norden earned his MS in marketing from Johns Hopkins University in 2013. He currently resides in San Francisco but will relocate to Orange County, CA, soon.

2009
Caitlin de Grouchy is the Director of Missions at the Church of the Nativity in Lutherville, MD. After four years working at Morgan Stanley in Cash Settlements running a team in Baltimore and Pune, India, and earning several promotions, Ms. de Grouchy left the corporate world to work for Church of the Nativity. As the Director of Missions, she oversees development efforts in Kenya, Haiti, Nigeria, Appalachia, and Baltimore City, with a focus on urban revitalization. Ms. de Grouchy resides in Baltimore.
2010
Pious Ahuja is an Assistant District Attorney for the Queens District Attorney’s Office in New York City where she works in the Domestic Violence Bureau. Ms. Ahuja graduated cum laude from American University in 2015 with both her MA and JD in international affairs and international human rights law, respectively. In 2015, she received the Peter M. Cicchino Award for Outstanding Advocacy in the Public Interest and the Pro Bono Pledge-Exceptional Service Honors award for 883 pro bono hours. Ms. Ahuja resides in Brooklyn, NY.
2011
Jazzi Goode is the STEM Coordinator for the Southwest Charlotte STEM Academy in NC. Ms. Goode was awarded the Founding Teacher of the Year award for the 2019-2020 school year. Her school is a first-year charter school with a STEM focus. She is responsible for teaching grades K-5 STEM Lab and 6th Grade computer science. She and her daughter, Marley, reside in Charlotte, NC.
Dr. Evan McDonald Johnson has been promoted to Pharmacist in Charge (Pharmacy Manager) for the new in-house employee retail pharmacy Nephron Pharmacy for Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation in West Columbia, SC. Dr. Johnson and her husband, alumnus Dr. Jermaine Johnson, Sr. ’08, welcomed their son, Kobe Joseph, into the world in June 2019. Kobe joins his two siblings, Jermaine Jr. and Khloe. The Johnson family resides in Columbia, SC.
Katie Kitchens is a Pediatric Cardiac ICU RN at MUSC in Charleston, SC.
Kit MacNeil was recently awarded the Awagami Paper Award as part of the 94th Annual International Competition at the Print Center in Philadelphia. Ms. MacNeil earned her MFA in studio art from the University at Buffalo in 2018. She resides in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.
Nicole Trevisan was promoted to Project Intake Analyst for Randstad USA based in Roswell, GA. Ms. Trevisan has been with Randstad for over eight years. She is also a certified personal trainer, fitness nutrition specialist, and weight loss specialist and partners with Anytime Fitness, Workout Anytime, and the Country Club of Roswell. Ms. Trevisan resides in Roswell, GA.

Shaun Kraisman has joined national cable news network, Newsmax TV, as a host for “National Report,” which airs live from New York City, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 12 pm. He has relocated to New York City to fulfill his new role.
Jennifer Johnson Krass married Michael Krass in April 2016. The couple resides in New Orleans where Ms. Krass works at the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Wyndham on Royal Street.
Dr. Brad Sion is an Assistant Research Professor for the Desert Research Institute in Reno, NV. He earned his MS and PhD from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in 2015 and 2018, respectively.
Cory Smith is the Vice President of Hyatt Pipeline, located in Canton, NC. He and his wife, Samantha, welcomed their son, Jensen, in July. The Smith family resides in Spartanburg, SC.
Chris Sullivan lives and works in Boston where he is on the acquisitions team at AEW Capital Management, a Boston-based real estate investment firm.
Christopher Thomas is a Solutions Architect for Avnet in Phoenix. He was accepted into the MBA program at the University of Arizona with plans to graduate in 2022. Mr. Thomas married his wife, Alden, in May 2017. The couple resides in Phoenix.
2013
LaQunya Baker is the Owner and Attorney for Baker Simpson Law, LLC, located in Denver. Ms. Baker earned her JD with a focus on international human rights from the Charlotte School of Law in 2016. While in law school she was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity. Ms. Baker was named Top 40 Under 40 for Criminal Defense by the National Trial Lawyers Association in 2019. She is licensed and admitted to practice law in Colorado, and resides in Aurora, CO.
Ben Cox is the Director of Product Marketing for H2O.ai based in Mountain View, CA. In June, Mr. Cox earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He was a contributor on a research paper regarding Responsible & Ethical AI accepted by NeurIPS in 2019, the leading Machine Leading and Computational Neuroscience Conference. He resides in Silver Spring, MD.
Alex Pappas Komar is a Development Coordinator for the University of Alaska, Anchorage. In her free time, Ms. Komar enjoys photography and digital design. She married Peter Komar in October 2019 at the Cedar Room in Charleston, SC. The couple resides in Eagle River, AK.
Emily Rogers earned her MPH from George Mason University. She and her husband, Andrew Kelley, reside in Reston, VA.
Davy Vanderweyen is a Resident Doctor in Radiology at the University of Sherbrooke. Dr. Vanderweyen earned his MD from the University of Sherbrooke in May. He resides in Quebec, Canada.
2014
Josh Hall is the Elementary Experience Leader at Seacoast Church in Mount Pleasant, SC. He lives in Hanahan, SC, with his wife, Kendal, and their two children, Eden and Ezra.
Morgan Heinly is a Manager for EY, a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services, located in Charlotte, NC. Mr. Heinly is currently working towards earning his master’s in business analytics from Wake Forest University. He resides in Charlotte, NC.
Dory Patterson is a graduate student at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is working towards earning her Doctor of physical therapy in 2022.
2015
Rebecca Drewry has been promoted to Associate Director, Regional Admissions, at the CofC Office of Admissions where she will help recruit students from Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Ms. Drewry has worked in the Office of Admissions since May 2015 where she started as an Admissions Representative. In 2017, she earned her M.Ed. in higher education from Northeastern University. Ms. Drewry will be moving from Charleston, SC, to Richmond, VA, for her new position.
Liv LaRussa is a Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant for George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates in Washington, D.C. She earned her PA-C from Wake Forest University in 2017.
Ricky Patterson is the Career Development Counselor at UNC Wilmington. He has also become the Liaison to the College of Health and Human Services. Mr. Patterson resides in Whiteville, NC.
2016
Hayley Brashier is a Business Development Analyst for Laitram Machinery in New Orleans. She earned her MBA from Tulane University in May.
Mariah Johnson earned her MSW from Winthrop University in 2019. Ms. Johnson has recently accepted the position of Research and Assessment Specialist for the Institute for Justice Research & Development at Florida State University. She resides in Greenville, SC.
Ben Schwartz is a Marketing Specialist for Bamboo Rose in Boston.
Jordan Trgovac is a Communications Assistant for the Kansas City Chiefs in Missouri. He will graduate from Georgetown University in August with his master’s in sports industry management.

Blake Norman is an Account Executive for FedEx in New York City.
Olivia Royer is a Clinical Coordinator for Epworth’s Children’s Home in Columbia, SC. Ms. Royer earned her master’s in social work from the University of South Carolina this May. She resides in Columbia, SC.
Perri Schwartzman is a Senior Business Development Representative, Strategic Accounts for Impact, in New York City. She resides in Hoboken, NJ.
Latrice Simmons is the new Community Health Improvement Lead for LiveWell Kershaw Coalition in Lugoff, SC. This May, Ms. Simmons earned her MPH from Mercer University. She resides in Elgin, SC.
TJ Thaler is the Business Development Manager for YipitData in New York City.
Ellinor Walters began her new position at North Sails Global Headquarters in Newport, RI, as the Global Comms and Content Producer.
Mary Wrona is the Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator for Commonwise Home Care, located in Charleston, SC.
2018
Jennifer Asouzu is the Marketing Coordinator for New Student Orientation for the University of South Carolina (UofSC). Ms. Asouzu is studying to earn her M.Ed. in higher education and student affairs from UofSC. She resides in Columbia, SC.
Charleigh Caldwell is an Ocean Export Lead Operator for DHL Global Forwarding in Charleston, SC.
Lorenz Esposito is a Digital Marketing Specialist for Potentialpark, a market research company based in Stockholm, Sweden, where he is primarily focused on developing their four main markets. Mr. Esposito is also a Professional Soccer Player for Vallentuna BK in Stockholm. He coaches at the same club for the U19 team in his free time. Mr. Esposito resides in Sweden.
Dollie Jennings is a Lab Manager at MUSC in Charleston, SC. She is studying neuroscience with plans to graduate from Florida State University with her PhD in 2025.
Logan McRae (’19) has been promoted to Channel Development Representative for Pax8, a cloud management solutions company located in Denver, CO. Mr. McRae started working for Pax8 in August 2019 as a Cloud Generation Specialist. This is his second promotion within the company. A native of Florence, SC, he now resides in Denver.

Kelly Ackerly is a Patient Care Technician at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC.
Lily Metcalf is a Logistics Specialist for Boston Dynamics in Waltham, MA. In 2018, Ms. Metcalf co-founded OptimumTrack, a tech startup created during ImpactX incubator at the CofC School of Business. She resides in Boston.
Matthew Ojala (MBA) is the Deputy Director, Department of Housing and Community Development for the City of Charleston. He earned his MPA in Environmental Policy from the University of Washington in 2012. Mr. Ojala and his wife, Rebecca, reside in Charleston, SC.
