Through the TD Ready Commitment – the bank’s corporate citizenship platform – TD is dedicating approximately $750 million to drive positive change, nurture progress and help make our communities more sustainable across four key areas of focus: Financial Security, Connected Communities, Better Health and Vibrant Planet.
In the Lowcountry, we’re fortunate to work closely with the College of Charleston in support of our shared community, which includes our extended sponsorship of the TD Arena through 2031. As a direct result of our continued relationship, we have updated signage on the exterior of the arena as well as new interior and way-finding signage. We also added two TD Bank ATMs on campus for added convenience for our customers and the community. Further, we’re excited to have the opportunity to extend our involvement with the College of Charleston’s athletes, faculty, staff, students, alumni and the greater Charleston community in the years to come.

In addition to College of Charleston, TD is also proud to support community organizations that are working tirelessly to make a difference in the Charleston area every day. We are honored to have provided more than $6 million total in support of the construction of the newly opened International African American Museum and contribute to its ongoing educational programming.
Earlier this year, TD also announced a $250,000 grant for the Emanuel Nine Memorial, which will support the creation of a permanent memorial honoring the nine clergy and church members murdered at the Mother Emanuel A.M.E. Church in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2015.
Additionally, TD supports the Medical University of South Carolina, Lowcountry Food Bank, Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, South Carolina Stingrays, SC Aquarium, Operation Home, Kids on Point and many other incredible organizations whose work is helping make the Lowcountry the thriving community it is today.
